LifeSpring Health Systems - Project 180
LifeSpring Health Systems is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center founded in 1964 as a small outpatient clinic for children in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and has grown to become the premier provider of comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care, and related services across 11 counties in southern Indiana, operating over 25 facilities and serving more than 14,000 individuals annually. With a mission 'to improve and sustain the quality of life in our communities by providing comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care and related services,' LifeSpring upholds the values that 'it is our privilege to serve, with the highest quality of care, in a professional and fiscally responsible manner.' As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) since 2015, LifeSpring employs a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and support staff who use an integrated, evidence-based care model to tailor specific programs for each individual, treating the whole patient through education, prevention, assessment, intervention, and treatment. Services encompass individual and group outpatient therapy, psychiatric and nursing care, crisis stabilization via 24/7 call centers and mobile teams, residential programs including supervised group living and transitional homes, recovery campuses with medically supervised detoxification and sub-acute units, children and families services for ages 4-17, school-based health services, veterans-specific support, open access walk-ins, problem gambling treatment, transportation assistance, and self-management classes, all provided regardless of ability to pay via a sliding fee scale based on income and family size, ensuring no one is turned away due to financial constraints, insurance status, race, disability, or other factors. LifeSpring fosters strong partnerships with medical, social service, educational, governmental, faith-based, and community organizations to deliver the least restrictive, most supportive care, promoting long-term recovery, community safety, and holistic wellness for underserved populations, including those with co-occurring disorders, homeless individuals, and at-risk youth and families.
