Four County Transitional Living (4CTL) is a halfway house providing sobriety and recovery support for men recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction.
Managed and staffed by those who have recovered themselves, 4CTL offers a non-medical facility that serves as a critical phase in rehabilitation by providing an opportunity for recovering individuals to live in a supportive peer environment as long as they do not relapse in using alcohol and/or drugs.
The organization's purpose is to help residents start a new way of living without the use of alcohol and/or unauthorized mind-altering chemicals through regular attendance at 12 Step Support Groups and any additional professional care as needed.
By applying the 12 steps and principles originated by Alcoholics Anonymous daily, residents learn to live life under life's terms, receiving a hand up, not a hand out, to re-enter society and live a sober, productive, and useful life.
