Adult and Teen Challenge Northern Indiana is a Christ-centered residential recovery program located in Elkhart, IN, serving men 18 and older who are struggling with life-controlling addictions such as substance abuse. As part of an international ministry founded in 1958 by David Wilkerson, ATCNI has over 60 years of success in guiding individuals toward total life transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, emphasizing discipleship and evangelism over mere treatment. Our 12-18 month program (minimum 6 months for re-entry) provides a peaceful, loving environment with a proven Bible-based curriculum that includes structured classes, personal mentoring, prayer, worship, work-ethics training, and involvement in a Christian community to help students confront destructive behaviors, form new mindsets, and establish a restored lifestyle pleasing to God. We offer holistic services such as residential mentoring, work therapy through initiatives like the ATCNI Detail Center and Rescue Coffee Roasters, non-residential options like Ready Now Recovery, and community outreach including the Stay Sharp prevention program for youth. ATCNI is birthed by prayer, led by the Holy Spirit, energized by evangelism, and sustained by God’s grace, offering hope and freedom to the hurting and captive, transforming lives from the inside out.
