Elevated Minds® is a licensed and client-centered mental health and wellness practice founded by Karen Moore, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC), and Sex Therapist with over 25 years of experience in psychology and 18 years in private practice. Committed to raising others to a higher standard of living, Elevated Minds® provides compassionate, confidential, and culturally competent support to individuals, couples, and families across Indiana, Florida, New Jersey, and New Hampshire, both virtually and in-person in Indiana. Specializing in relationship and intimacy issues, sex therapy, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ affirming care, non-monogamy, kink, and identity exploration, the practice employs a holistic, multidimensional, and integrative approach that draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, sex-positive frameworks, and Brainspotting to address the whole person—considering emotional, relational, social, and behavioral patterns. Through collaborative therapy, clients are empowered to identify root causes of pain, shift self-defeating patterns, cultivate coping strategies and communication skills, rebuild confidence, resilience, intimacy, and connection, ultimately fostering deeper self-awareness, emotional health, and meaningful lives.
