Valle Vista Health System, located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing comprehensive behavioral health care to the community since 1983. For over 40 years, we’ve made it our mission to be a positive and supportive resource to adults and adolescents ages 12 and older who need a therapeutic environment to start their journeys toward mental wellness. Licensed by the State of Indiana and fully accredited by the Joint Commission, we offer inpatient care for a broad range of psychiatric disorders and outpatient addiction care services, with the ultimate goal of helping people learn the necessary skills to regain confidence and function successfully at home, work, school and in their communities. Our team of physicians and clinical staff provides individualized treatment to each patient, developing a care plan that will promote lifelong recovery and a brighter future for them and their families. Services include acute psychiatric inpatient treatment, dual diagnosis programs, substance use disorder and detox for adults, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, medication-assisted treatment through New Vista Outpatient Recovery Centers in Greenwood and Indianapolis for opioid addiction, inpatient and outpatient care for children and adolescents focusing on issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma, and a specialized girls residential treatment program for ages 12-18 addressing PTSD, self-harm, suicidality, abuse, and human trafficking. Our multidisciplinary approach incorporates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, recreational therapy, group and family counseling, medication management, and discharge planning to treat the whole person in a compassionate, structured environment.
