Wheeler Mission Center for Women & Children

Since 1893, Wheeler Mission has been a Christ-centered ministry committed to modeling Christ’s love by providing help, hope, and healing to struggling neighbors experiencing homelessness in Central and South Central Indiana, including Indianapolis and Bloomington.

Starting from humble beginnings, the organization has expanded to serve thousands of men, women, and children each year through a range of comprehensive services such as homeless shelters, residential programs, addiction recovery, and social enterprises like thrift stores, the pallets industry, and Restored Creations, where participants learn skills and rebuild their lives.

Wheeler Mission's approach integrates spiritual guidance with practical support, including nourishing meals, safe shelter during harsh winters via contingency plans, behavioral health counseling, and faith-based recovery, aiming to transform lives by addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
