Still Water on the Wildcat, also known as Wildcat Recovery, is a 30-bed men's sober living and recovery residence in Kokomo, Indiana, dedicated to providing a nurturing and restorative atmosphere for individuals overcoming substance use disorders, including opioids, alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, and heroin addiction. As more than a traditional halfway house, the organization focuses on holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit through evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), and dual diagnosis care for co-occurring mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Serving men from diverse backgrounds, including those referred through drug courts, mental health courts, re-entry programs, family courts, and veterans treatment courts, Wildcat Recovery offers a full continuum of care—from partnered medical detox and inpatient residential programs to partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient services, transitional housing, and comprehensive aftercare with alumni support and community integration. Emphasizing community, positive culture, and open communication, the facility provides 24/7 staffing, nutritious meals, life skills training, recreational activities, vocational counseling, and peer support to foster personal growth, relapse prevention, and long-term sobriety, while partnering with local judiciary and supervision experts to support alternative sentencing and reintegration into society.
