Turning Point SOC is a trusted central Indiana non-profit provider for addiction recovery and mental health crisis services, operating as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a peer-led, wrap-around approach that prioritizes hiring qualified professionals with lived experience in recovery. Our mission is to transform our communities through compassionate and life-changing recovery support, creating an engaging and caring recovery community that meets people where they are in their recovery journey. We serve individuals, families, and youth affected by substance use disorders, mental health challenges, trauma, and related issues, offering a safe place to embrace the recovery journey and create one's best life. Services include 24/7 medically supervised residential detox for men, women, and teens; trauma-informed outpatient and intensive outpatient therapy for anxiety, depression, addiction, relationships, parenting, and relapse prevention; peer recovery coaching with 1-on-1 support and WRAP groups; diverse support groups such as SMART Recovery, Seeking Safety, CRAFT for families, and the Recovery Cafe for structured sessions and social events; rapid access to immediate needs like housing, food, clothing, ID, hygiene kits, and insurance enrollment; youth REACH programs for ages 12-17 focusing on mentorship, coping skills, and life skills; harm reduction outreach including Naloxone training; and additional supports like financial aid, transportation resources, and workforce development. As a federally qualified health center affiliate, we ensure accessibility for all through Medicaid, Medicare, most commercial insurance, sliding fee scales, and no denial based on inability to pay, emphasizing trust, dignity, and community collaboration to foster long-term recovery and reduce stigma.
