Willowstone Family Services is a private, non-profit organization based in Lafayette, Indiana, proudly serving Tippecanoe County and the surrounding areas for more than 60 years by providing effective programs and services focused on prevention, intervention, and preservation. With a mission to strengthen mental health and families to build a resilient and connected community, Willowstone offers a comprehensive range of accessible and affordable services, including outpatient mental health counseling for children as young as 5, teens, adults, couples, and families; evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), art therapy, and play therapy to address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, grief, and family conflicts; the free Healthy Families home visitation program for expecting and new parents to promote child development, health care access, and parent support; S-M-A-R-T Youth and Get S-M-A-R-T Jr drug prevention programs for preteens and teens to educate on substance use and peer pressure; supportive group experiences like Parent Cafe for caregivers and Teen Cafe for youth ages 13-17 to foster connections and skill-building; and art processing groups using creative mediums to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.
