LifeSpring Health Systems - Madison
LifeSpring Health Systems, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center, has been the premier provider of mental health and primary care services in southern Indiana since its founding as a small outpatient clinic for children in Jeffersonville in 1964. With a mission 'to improve and sustain the quality of life in our communities by providing comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care and related services,' LifeSpring embodies the values of 'It is our privilege to serve, with the highest quality of care, in a professional and fiscally responsible manner.' Serving 11 counties—Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer, and Washington—through over 25 facilities and assisting more than 14,000 individuals annually, the organization employs a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and support staff to deliver evidence-based, integrated care tailored to each person's needs. Services encompass education, prevention, assessment, intervention, and treatment for mental health issues, addiction recovery—including outpatient, residential, and crisis stabilization—and holistic primary care as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) since 2015, with no one turned away due to inability to pay via a sliding fee scale. LifeSpring fosters partnerships with medical, social service, educational, and community entities to provide the least restrictive, most supportive services for children, families, veterans, the homeless, and underserved populations, promoting recovery, community safety, and overall well-being.
