With a history spanning 50 years, beginning as two community mental health centers offering outpatient behavioral health services in Hammond and Merrillville, it has evolved to include substance abuse and residential treatment, administrative consolidation into the Regional Mental Health Center, and the pioneering establishment of Indiana's first FQHC to address physical health disparities among mental health clients.
