Northwest Psychological Services, P.C., led by Dr. Jill A. Miller, Psy.D., HSPP, LCAC, a licensed clinical psychologist in both Indiana and Illinois and a member of the American Psychological Association, provides ethical, professional, and confidential psychological services in Northwest Indiana. With a doctorate earned from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 1996 and as a lifelong resident of the area, Dr. Miller maintains her private practice focused on psychodiagnostic services including psychological, personality, intelligence, and academic assessments; psychotherapeutic services such as individual therapy for adults and adolescents; and psychoeducation and training in communication skills, parenting skills, stress management, and divorce education. The practice addresses a range of issues for adults including anxiety, depression, divorce, grief, marital discord, stress, smoking cessation, and co-parenting counseling, as well as for adolescents such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, acting out/behavior problems, school failure, anxiety, family relationships, truancy, depression, and substance abuse. Fees are competitive, with most insurance providers accepted (excluding HMO plans and MDWise), and a sliding fee scale available for uninsured individuals.
