LifeSpring Health Systems is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center and Federally Qualified Health Center that has been the premier provider of comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care, and related services in southern Indiana since 1964. With a mission 'to improve and sustain the quality of life in our communities,' LifeSpring serves over 14,000 individuals annually across 11 counties—Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer, and Washington—through more than 25 facilities, including residential programs, school-based clinics, and a 24/7 crisis call center. No one is turned away due to inability to pay, race, disability, or other factors, with services available on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size, ensuring accessible care for all, including the underserved, homeless, veterans, children, families, and those facing mental illness, addiction, or primary health needs. LifeSpring fosters strong partnerships with medical, social service, educational, and community organizations to provide the least restrictive, most supportive interventions, from assessments and outpatient therapy to residential recovery programs like the Turning Point and Hope Centers, crisis stabilization, and innovative initiatives such as Project CARE for overdose response.
