IU Health is a leading academic health system in Indiana, affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine, dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral and mental health services to individuals of all ages facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, and grief. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we offer a full spectrum of care including outpatient and inpatient programs, individual and group therapy (such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and peer recovery support), medication management, innovative treatments like electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), intensive outpatient programs for addiction recovery, and specialized services for conditions like opioid use disorder and borderline personality disorder. Our evidence-based, community-integrated model emphasizes treating the whole person—addressing physical, emotional, and social aspects—through confidential support, early intervention, nutritional counseling, and partnerships with primary care providers to promote recovery, resilience, and optimal wellbeing for patients, families, and the underserved across Indiana.
