Valley Oaks Health is a community-based holistic health care organization providing comprehensive, high-quality mental health, addiction recovery, and primary medical care services to the citizens of ten central Indiana counties, including Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Tippecanoe, Warren, and White. With roots tracing back to 1906 as a Seventh-day Adventist institution that evolved through various transformations into a designated Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) in 1975, Valley Oaks Health recognizes its role as an integral provider of accessible services to all, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, or insurance status. Guided by the philosophy that good health is a fundamental need and a basic right of everyone, the organization fosters hope and enriches quality of life through high-quality, tailored programs such as office-based and school-based therapy, medication-assisted treatment, crisis intervention and stabilization, case management, psychological assessments, group therapy, supervised group living, intensive child and adolescent programs, substance use treatment, and child advocacy services, all designed to promote personal growth, learning, problem-solving, and community building for individuals, families, and the underserved facing mental health challenges, addiction, and primary health needs.
