Porter-Starke Services is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community mental health center dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Northwest Indiana through prevention, treatment, education, and research, with a vision of inspiring people to advance the health, balance, and hope of our community. Celebrating over 50 years of service, the organization operates as a state-certified Community Mental Health Center and a Federally Qualified Health Center through its Marram Health Center locations in Gary, Hebron, Portage, and Valparaiso, providing a full continuum of evidence-based care tailored to individual needs. Serving adults, families, adolescents, and children facing mental health or substance abuse issues across offices in Valparaiso, Portage, Knox, La Porte, Gary, and Hebron, Porter-Starke Services offers compassionate, customized services including individual and group therapy by licensed masters-level therapists, comprehensive addiction treatment with options like methadone maintenance, counseling, and women's recovery housing, psychiatric services encompassing medication management, care coordination, and residential programs, as well as 24/7 crisis care through its Crisis Center, Mobile Crisis Team, Emergency Services, and Inpatient Care Center for acute stabilization and treatment.
