WIN Recovery, an opioid treatment program of Hamilton Center, Inc., is the first of its kind in west central Indiana, providing comprehensive treatment for adults aged 18 and older struggling with opioid use disorder. The clinic offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) including daily methadone administration, buprenorphine, and Suboxone under monitored conditions to avoid withdrawal, minimize cravings, and achieve physical and mental stabilization. Coupled with this are required individual and group counseling services for the first year, focusing on the science of addiction, relapse prevention, and managing cravings, where trained counselors act as teachers and coaches to foster behavior change and recovery. Additionally, case management services assist patients in building community connections, linking them to healthcare, insurance benefits, education, sober living, support groups, housing, and coordinating care with physicians, courts, or referring agencies. WIN Recovery aims to provide help, hope, and recovery from the debilitating disease of opioid use disorder, enabling individuals to regain their lives, heal families, secure employment, limit exposure to diseases like HIV and Hepatitis, and avoid criminal activity associated with illegal drug use, emphasizing that opioid use disorder is treatable and recovery is possible through an evidence-based, whole-person approach that integrates medical, behavioral, and social support.
