What we treat

Treatment & Programs

Levels of Care

Aspire Indiana Health pioneered the 'Whole Health Recovery Continuum' to guide individuals from acute crisis care through long-term independence. The journey often includes residential inpatient stays at Mockingbird Hill and transitional recovery housing at Next Step. Clients can also utilize virtual telehealth appointments through a specialized video platform.

Therapies

Clinicians lean on evidence-based practices to drive strong treatment outcomes. Custom recovery plans frequently feature Cognitive Behavioral Therapy alongside Motivational Interviewing techniques. Specific modules like Dialectical Behavior Therapy help individuals regulate severe emotional responses, and medication-assisted treatment is fully integrated into the process.

Addictions

Substance use disorder programming addresses both severe alcohol dependency and broad drug addictions. Counselors utilize specialized approaches, such as the Cannabis Youth Treatment, to help adolescents build real-life coping strategies. The ultimate clinical goal is helping people safely get off and stay off substances of abuse.

Conditions

The clinical team provides comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and treat depression, severe anxiety, and thought disorders. They also focus on providing trauma-informed care for individuals with co-occurring illnesses. The medical staff recognizes that mental and physical health symptoms are deeply intertwined across every diagnosis.

Issues

Beyond direct clinical diagnoses, overarching social drivers of health receive focused attention. Case managers help clients tackle housing insecurity through rapid re-housing programs and guide individuals facing severe career issues. The dedicated HOPE program also provides specialized care coordination for those living with HIV/AIDS.

Programs

A standout feature is the localized Systems of Care philosophy, highlighted by the Wraparound program that empowers families to direct their own support teams. For addiction, integrated frameworks merge seamlessly with 12-step peer recovery groups and medication-friendly therapy protocols.

On-site

The Rely Center crisis unit features semi-private recliners, warming blankets, and individual tablets loaded with calming music. For transitional living, the Next Step recovery community provides structured two-man apartment units with accessible laundry facilities.
