Valley of Grace is a Christ-centered recovery center offering freedom from addiction through faith-based programs, situated on 40 acres in rural Howard County, Indiana, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Founded in 2017 by Joey and Darcy Bennett, inspired by Joey's own recovery at the Home of Grace in Mississippi, Valley of Grace opened its doors in February 2022 with a 12-bed facility for men seeking hope and healing.
Modeled after the 55-year-old Home of Grace, which has served thousands across multiple states, our mission is to provide successful recovery by introducing Jesus Christ as the catalyst for hope, healing, and quality of life.
The 90-day residential program includes group and individual counseling, classroom instruction, recreation and work therapy, transitional life classes, worship and devotions, adult education, and marital/family support, all rooted in the belief that the Bible is God’s Holy Word and salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
While primarily serving men, we also facilitate enrollment for women at our sister campus in Mississippi.
Additionally, we offer a 12-week support group for spouses and families to find joy amid sorrow and heal from the impacts of addiction.
Through this integrated approach, Valley of Grace restores lives, families, and relationships, emphasizing spiritual transformation, community accountability, and long-term sobriety.
What we treat
Treatment & Programs
Levels of Care
The 90-day inpatient program at this 12-bed rural campus offers men a structured residential approach. Modeled after the decades-old Home of Grace in Mississippi, the immersive environment combines daily accountability with room and board.
Therapies
Residents participate in a daily blend of group counseling, life skills workshops, and classroom instruction. The schedule integrates work and recreation therapy with psychoeducation to equip men with practical tools for long-term sobriety.
Addictions
The recovery center provides dedicated support for individuals seeking freedom from severe substance use disorders. Rather than focusing on a single substance, the ministry welcomes those deeply impacted by chemical dependency to find lasting sobriety.
Conditions
Valley of Grace addresses addiction by helping individuals confront buried emotions and deep-seated despair. The clinical focus remains heavily on resolving the underlying spiritual and emotional emptiness that often drives ongoing chemical dependency.
Issues
The program directly confronts the relational damage and grief caused by substance abuse. Residents are guided to face past emotional traumas and gently surrender their pain rather than continuing to numb it.
Programs
Valley of Grace operates a distinctly Christian faith-based track where worship and daily devotions anchor the schedule. The curriculum emphasizes true spiritual transformation, introducing Jesus Christ as the primary catalyst for hope and healing.
