Maud Booth, co-founder of Volunteers of America, was a national leader and pioneer in the prison reform movement.
She opened and operated the first halfway houses in the country in the late 1800s.
We continue to see the importance of these programs for the formerly incarcerated and the community and provide evidence-based residential treatment programs for ex-offenders.
