LifeSpring Health Systems is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been the premier provider of comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care, and related services in southern Indiana since its founding in 1964 as a small outpatient clinic for children in Jeffersonville.

With a mission 'to improve and sustain the quality of life in our communities by providing comprehensive behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care and related services,' LifeSpring upholds the values that 'it is our privilege to serve, with the highest quality of care, in a professional and fiscally responsible manner.' Serving 11 counties—Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, Spencer, and Washington—through over 25 facilities, including residential programs, school-based clinics, and crisis services, the organization annually supports more than 14,000 individuals of all ages, including children, families, veterans, the homeless, and underserved populations, regardless of ability to pay via a sliding fee scale.

LifeSpring employs a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and case managers to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care using a holistic, team approach that tailors programs for assessment, intervention, outpatient and residential treatment, medication management, recovery support, and partnerships with medical, social service, educational, and community entities to provide the least restrictive, most supportive services for whole-person wellness.
